Chennai, May 30 -- Ms Mohini Ammal, mother of popular Tamil actor Ajith Kumar, died on Saturday due to old age.
She was 84.
She has been unwell for some time due to old-age related issues and was under treatment. She breathed her last today morning.
Prominent personalities from the film world visited Ajith's Palavakkam residence in the city and paid their homage.
