Panchkula, July 2 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast an active monsoon spell across northwest India over the next six days, predicting widespread rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds will prevail over Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh and Delhi while indicating that conditions remain favourable for the southwest monsoon to advance further into these regions during the next two days.
According to the IMD's latest All India Weather Summary and Forecast Bulletin, fairly widespread rainfall is likely over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Punjab from July 2 to July 7.
