Dharamshala, March 7 -- Kangra Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa on Friday stressed that accurate and reliable data is essential for effective government programmes and policy formulation.
Addressing a two-day workshop on strengthening the data collection system under the System of Environmental-Economic Accounting (SEEA) framework and the Support for Statistical Strengthening (SSS) scheme at Hotel T-Bud in Palampur, the Deputy Commissioner said the quality of government decisions depends largely on the reliability of data.
