Hyderabad, March 31 -- The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday registered a case against Sub-Inspector of Police Chalamalla Hari Prasad Reddy of Thimmajipet Police Station in Nagarkurnool district for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe.
According to ACB officials, the accused officer initially demanded Rs 30,000 from the complainant on March 5 and subsequently accepted a part payment of Rs 20,000 on March 12 to facilitate the release of vehicles seized in a case registered against the complainant's younger brother.
