Kolhapur, June 25 -- Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials today booked a woman Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) attached to Shahupuri police station of the city, for demanding bribe of Rs 25,000 to help a man get bail in a criminal case.
The booked PSI was identified as Aparna Sukhdev Jadhav, attached to Shahupuri police station, resident of Hatnoli village in Tasgaon tehsil of Sangli district (present resident at Kalamba of this district).
In a press release, police said, a criminal case has been booked against the complainant, who had earlier given Rs 25,000 to PSI Ms Jadhav through his father for help in his case. However, the PSI demanded Rs 25,000 again to help in getting bail.
