Amravati, April 29 -- The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has busted a bribery case in Maharashtra's Amravati district, trapping a computer operator while allegedly accepting Rs 15,000 for facilitating registration of a rooftop solar project, officials said on Wednesday.
Acting on a complaint by a 37-year-old solar panel fitter, the ACB laid a trap on April 28 after verification confirmed that a bribe was being sought for approval of a registration application submitted at the office of the Superintending Engineer, MSEB, Amravati, under the name "Green Energy".
