Srinagar, April 7 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday arrested two officials of the PWD (R&B) Mechanical Division, North Kashmir, Baramulla, for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe.

The accused-Mushtaq Ahmad, a senior assistant, and Farooq Ahmad, a junior assistant-were caught red-handed during a trap operation laid by the ACB following a complaint.

According to ACB, the complainant, a manager of a private firm registered on the GeM portal, had supplied a customised vehicle for live fish transportation to the Fisheries Department in Bandipora after being declared the lowest bidder.
