New Delhi, Aug. 28 -- South Africa's seam-bowling all-rounder Marizanne Kapp has strongly opposed Cricket Australia's decision to allow transgender cricketer Anaya Bangar to play in the country's community cricket competitions and potentially pursue a pathway to the elite Women's Big Bash League (WBBL).
Marizanne, who has represented South Africa in four Tests, 162 ODIs and 126 T20Is, expressed her displeasure through an Instagram post. Sharing a screenshot of a news article on Anaya being cleared to compete, Marizanne wrote, "Absolutely ridiculous, this should NOT be allowed!" while tagging the official WBBL handle.
