Mahabubnagar, Aug. 14 -- About 21 passengers were injured, three of them seriously, when a private travel bus in which they were travelling lost control and overturned on National Highway-44 (Hyderabad-Bengaluru) in Bhoothpur Mandal of Mahabubnagar district on Thursday night.
The bus, carrying 36 passengers, was proceeding to Arunachalam from Hyderabad when the accident occurred, police said.
The injured were admitted to the Mahabubnagar Government Hospital for treatment. The three seriously injured passengers were later shifted to Hyderabad for better treatment.
The bus was removed from the road with the help of a crane to ensure smooth traffic flow.
