Kolkata, June 15 -- Trinamool Congress National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee faced marathon 11-hour grilling from Enforcement Department (ED) officials on Monday in connection with the alleged primary teacher recruitment scam in West Bengal.

Banerjee, who reached the Central agency's office at the CGO Complex in Salt Lake slightly ahead of the scheduled time of 11 am following summons, came out at around 10 pm, looking visibly tired.

In the morning, while entering the CGO complex, Banerjee refused to answer queries from the large posse of mediapersons.
