New Delhi, Sept. 13 -- India opener Abhishek Sharma on Sunday backed the team's aggressive batting philosophy, saying one or two series would not define the side as a batting unit and stressed the importance of giving the team strong starts while chasing challenging totals.

Abhishek, who was adjudged Player of the Match after smashing a blistering 82 off 32 balls, said India had consciously adopted an attacking approach well before the World Cup and remained committed to it despite fluctuations in form.
