New Delhi, Aug. 20 -- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday intensified its attack on the BJP-led Delhi government after a 22-year-old man was stabbed to death in Kalyanpuri, the second murder reported in the area within four days.

The opposition party alleged that the back-to-back killings reflected a worsening law-and-order situation in the national capital.

AAP Delhi president Saurabh Bharadwaj said the killing of Jai Singh in Kalyanpuri's Block 11 showed that crime had risen sharply under the BJP government. In a post on X, he alleged that while the Delhi Police had failed to prevent crimes, it acted swiftly against AAP legislators who protested on public issues.
