Chandigarh, May 14 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) further consolidated its political footprint in Pathankot district as the Dhar Kalan Block Samiti elected its leadership after a five-month hiatus.
In a meeting held to finalize the appointments following the December elections, Ekta Chaudhary was unanimously elected as the Chairperson of the Dhar Kalan Block Samiti, while Sunita was appointed as the Vice-Chairperson.
Punjab Cabinet Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak attended the ceremony to formally induct the new office bearers.
Accompanied by Sujanpur constituency in-charge Amit Mintu and other party dignitaries, the Minister honored the newly elected leaders with floral garlands.
