New Delhi, Aug. 17 -- An Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national council member, Sri Chand Vohra, has been arrested by Delhi Police for allegedly threatening a Dalit party worker and refusing to vacate his premises, police sources said.

According to the FIR registered in the case, the complainant, an AAP worker, alleged that he had handed over the premises to Vohra in 2019 on a temporary basis for setting up a private political office. However, when he later sought its return, Vohra allegedly delayed handing over possession until 2022.

Vohra, who is also the husband of a Jaitpur councillor, was arrested from Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh, sources said.
