Naresh KumarBarnala, July 25 -- Former Vice-Chairman of the Punjab State SC Commission Raj Kumar Verka on Friday launched a scathing attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government over the alleged police lathi-charge on sanitation workers in Barnala, claiming the incident would become "the last nail in the coffin" of the ruling party.
After visiting injured sanitation workers at Barnala Civil Hospital, Verka alleged that the police had used excessive force against protesters, including women, and demanded criminal action against the officers responsible.
