New Delhi, Aug. 7 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday alleged that its MLAs were marshalled out of the Delhi Legislative Assembly after demanding a discussion on what it described as a Rs 650 crore health procurement scam involving the BJP-led Delhi government. The ruling party has not publicly responded to the allegations.
Addressing a press conference, AAP Legislature Party Chief Whip Sanjeev Jha accused the Rekha Gupta government of avoiding accountability by refusing to allow a debate under Rule 59 and by convening two consecutive Assembly sessions without a Question Hour.
