Mumbai, Sept. 30 -- Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena MLA Aaditya Thackeray reached Thane, near Mumbai on Wednesday night, entered the police station and demanded that the name of all suspects allegedly involved in the murder of his Thane party leader Pradeep Purnekar must be included in the police first information report (FIR).
A tense silence prevails in the Manorama Nagar area after the murder, and a curfew was imposed in the area on Wednesday. Shops and three schools in the area have also remained closed, since the murdered Sena leader is known to have a large following in the area. The police seized CCTV footage of the crime scene and nine teams have been dispatched to search for the attackers.
