Lucknow, Sept. 10 -- Former union Minister Kaushal Kishore, who served as a Member of Parliament from the Mohanlalganj parliamentary constituency adjacent to Lucknow, has categorically stated that people in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the government are "conspiring" to expel him from the party.
"They are creating circumstances that will force me to leave the party. Such people will cause significant damage to the party in the upcoming elections, and everyone will suffer the consequences," the Dalit BJP leader told UNI in an interview.
He said that there are some people within the party and the government who are "not happy with his stature and popularity".
