New Delhi, March 30 -- Based on data uploaded by banks on Jan Dhan Darshak (JDD) app, 99.92 pc in the country and 100pc villages in UT of Dadra and Nagar Haveli are covered with banking outlets within a radius of 5km as of March, said Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary in Parliament.
The Minister said in Lok Sabha that the endeavour of the government is to ensure the availability of banking outlets within 5km of all inhabited villages in the country.
