Mumbai, Sept. 10 -- A magistrate court has granted bail to 72-year-old Amina Usman Dada, an accused in a property fraud case, after she allegedly failed to appear for 21 court hearings, while imposing stringent conditions, including a direction to attend every proceeding unless exempted by the court.
The 47th Metropolitan Magistrate Court directed Dada to furnish a surety of Rs 50,000 and not leave the country without prior permission of the court.
Dada, a resident of Bhulabhai Desai Road in South Mumbai, was arrested by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) after the court issued a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against her for repeatedly failing to appear during the proceedings.
