Agartala, May 21 -- As many as 476 constables, including 318 women, were passed out into Tripura Police today after completing their training. This represents one of the largest incorporations of female personnel in the state's police history in recent years.

During the passing out ceremony held at KTD Singh Police Training Academy, Tripura's Chief Minister, Dr Manik Saha, remarked on the impressive number of women entering the force, viewing it as a clear indication of the BJP government's strong commitment to empowering women and pursuing inclusive development in Tripura.
