Nagpur, July 9 -- : Under India's BRICS 2026 chairmanship, the third meeting of senior officials of the BRICS Transport Working Group began in Nagpur on Thursday. Representatives from 11 BRICS member countries are participating in the four-day meeting.
Representatives from India, Brazil, Russia, China, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia are participating in the meeting.
The meeting will discuss important issues including strengthening cooperation in the transport sector, multimodal connectivity, sustainable transport, logistics, road safety and the use of emerging technologies.
