Dimapur, Oct. 22 -- Dimapur DC & district election officer Tinojongshi Chang on Thursday said that as many as 36,629 electors in three assembly constituencies under Dimapur district were deleted during the SIR exercise in 2026, bringing the current total in the draft electoral roll to 89,074 from 1,25,703 in 2025.
Presenting the summary report of the draft publication under SIR 2026 for Dimapur district at a review meeting on the SIR of electoral rolls at the DC's office, Chang said Dimapur-I constituency recorded 8,749 deletions, bringing it down to 16,776 electors in the draft roll from 25,525 electors in 2025; Dimapur-II seat had 60,920 electors in 2025, of which 19,605 were deleted, leaving 41,315 electors; and Dimapur-III constituency...
