Hyderabad, June 12 -- Telangana Deputy Chief Minister and Energy Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Friday announced that 335 legal heirs who recently qualified for compassionate and dependent appointments in the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) will receive appointment letters at a special programme to be held in Mancherial on Saturday.
He directed SCCL management to make all necessary arrangements for the event.
Addressing another long-pending issue concerning Singareni workers, Bhatti said the government is actively examining the decades-old unresolved problem of 'Maruperlu' (alias names) and is seeking expert legal opinion to arrive at a permanent and lawful solution within the framework of existing regulations.
