Lucknow, July 25 -- Thirty-two days after a devastating fire claimed 15 lives, the Lucknow administration on Saturday began demolishing the four-story Aliganj building where the tragedy occurred. The demolition is being carried out after an expert inspection declared the structure unsafe.

The demolition drive began around 7:30 am, with three bulldozers deployed at the site to carry out the operation. The administration has undertaken the exercise in a phased manner while ensuring strict safety arrangements.
