Gadchiroli, Feb. 26 -- Mild tremors were felt in parts of Maharashtra's Gadchiroli district late Wednesday night, triggering panic among residents in areas along the Telangana border, including Aheri, officials said.
According to initial reports, the tremors were experienced at around 11:50 PM in several areas including Aheri, Sironcha and Korchi in Gadchiroli.
The tremors measured 3.9 on the Richter scale.
Officials said the epicentre was located near Mancherial in neighbouring Telangana.
