New Delhi, Sept. 22 -- Posing as policemen, three men allegedly gang-raped a 17-year-old girl inside a park near Kalkaji Mandir area, with police nabbing one of the accused, officials said on Tuesday.
The horrific incident with the minor took place on Monday evening after she and her 17-year-old male friend had visited Kalkaji Mandir for darshan and subsequently entered Astha Kunj Park through Gate No 7, she said in her complaint.
Following the victim's complaint, the accused identified as Asif was arrested after a police encounter. According to police, the accused allegedly fired three rounds at the police team when they tried to intercept him near DM Office Road in Amar Colony.
