Kolhapur/Raigad, July 10 -- In a shocking incident, as many as 3,000 gas cylinders from Hindustan Petroleum were washed away into the Patalganga river in Raigad district, due to the strong flow of water.
The Hindustan Petroleum LPG bottling plant located in the MIDC area of Chavane in Panvel taluka was badly affected by the floods.
Due to the heavy rains, as many as 3,000 gas cylinders from the plant got washed away into the Patalganga river. These included filled and empty cylinders.
After this incident, there was a stir in the entire area, and the administration issued an immediate alert to the villages along the river.
