Kolkata, Aug. 12 -- The West Bengal Clinical Establishment Regulatory Commission has announced a round-the-clock helpline and other channels for people to lodge complaints against private healthcare units, including hospitals, diagnostic centres and pathological centres, in the state.

According to a release issued by the commission, complaints can be lodged through its 24x7 helpline at 1860-345-3512.

People can also submit complaints by email, through the commission's website or by post. Complaints can be sent to wbcerc@wb.gov.in or submitted through www.wbcerc.gov.in, the release said.

Those sending complaints by post must provide their mobile phone number and email address, it added.
