Mumbai, May 23 -- In a major crackdown on illegal stay and suspected criminal activity involving foreign nationals, police detained 24 Nigerian citizens from Maharashtra's Dombivli and Navi Mumbai during a late-night joint operation conducted by the Navi Mumbai and Thane police teams. The detainees include 14 men, six women and four children, while officials have launched a detailed investigation into the matter.
