Ranchi, April 12 -- Around 225 athletes from across the country participated in the Indian Athletics Series-4 competition held at Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium in Ranchi on Sunday.
The one-day event is being organised jointly by the Athletics Federation of India, Jharkhand Athletics Association and the state government.
Top athletes from institutions including Railways, Army and Navy are competing in track and field events, raising the level of competition.
A total of 15 events are being conducted in senior men's and women's categories, along with competitions in the under-20 segment.
