Panchkula, Sept. 25 -- As many as 200 beneficiaries were registered on the Seva Setu portal on the first day of a two-day camp in Kalka on Friday, with officials directed to process applications of eligible people without unnecessary delay.
Kalka MLA Shakti Rani Sharma inaugurated the camp at Ambedkar Bhawan and inspected stalls set up by different government departments offering assistance on welfare, self-employment, loans, subsidies and skill-development schemes.
Sharma directed officials to not merely provide information but also verify documents, register eligible beneficiaries on the spot and complete required formalities so that benefits could reach them without delay.
