Kozhikode, May 28 -- Abdul Rahim, a native of Kozhikode, Kerala, returned to his homeland on Thursday, after spending nearly 20 years in a Saudi Arabian prison.
His landing at the Karipur International Airport marked the end of a multi-decade legal battle and an unprecedented global crowdfunding effort.
Rahim, who landed at Karipur airport in Kozhikode at around 7.35 am, completed the formalities and walked out of the terminal at 8.20 am.
