Mumbai, May 22 -- Mumbai Police have arrested 19 people so far for their alleged involvement in a violent protest in Bandra area during the Western Railway's ongoing anti-encroachment drive. Four policemen have been injured in stone pelting by illegal settlers near railway tracks.
Police are on the lookout for stone pelters at police and railway personnel.
However, nearly 90 per cent of the demolition work has now been completed, officials said here on Friday on the third day of the eviction drive.
Police had on Thursday arrested 16 people of whom 15 accused were produced before the Bandra court on the same day and remanded to police custody till May 26, while one minor detained in the case has been sent to the Children's Remand Home.
