Bhubaneswar, Oct. 21 -- Odisha Director General of Police Binayatosh Mishra on Wednesday paid tribute to police personnel and members of the Central Armed Police Forces who laid down their lives in the line of duty, saying their supreme sacrifice would continue to inspire the entire police fraternity.
Addressing the 67th Police Commemoration Day ceremony at the Odisha Police Headquarters, Mishra paid homage to the personnel who sacrificed their lives in the service of the nation and the protection of the motherland. He also conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families.
Police personnel presented a ceremonial salute to the martyrs, followed by a two-minute silence in their honour.
