Hyderabad, Oct. 10 -- A total of 141 undergraduate and postgraduate medical students graduated from the Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (AIMSR), Hyderabad, at a graduation ceremony held at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University here on Saturday.

Padma Shri Dr. B. Soma Raju, renowned cardiologist and founder of CARE Hospitals, attended the ceremony as the chief guest.

Of the graduating students, 97 belonged to the undergraduate batch of 2020 and 44 to the postgraduate batch of 2022.

Since its inception in 2012, the institution has produced more than 700 graduates, with over 90 per cent of its alumni securing postgraduate seats in medical colleges across India or residency programmes abroad, according to AIMSR.
