Yet, more than a decade later, the pursuit of justice remains stalled at the starting line-marked by unserved penalties, unverified addresses, and a complete absence of judicial accountability.
What began as a demonstration called by the Raza Academy and other organisations to protest alleged atrocities against Muslims in Myanmar quickly degenerated into chaos. A mob of over 20,000 gathered at Azad Maidan, turning a public rally into a scene of unprecedented lawlessness.
