New Delhi, May 20 -- The multilateral military exercise PRAGATI 2026 commenced on Wednesday at Umroi Military Station in Meghalaya with the participation of contingents from 12 friendly nations, underscoring regional cooperation and collective security in the Indian Ocean Region.
The participating countries include Bhutan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Seychelles, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam. The Indian Army accorded the visiting contingents a traditional welcome on their arrival, showcasing India's cultural heritage and hospitality.
