New Delhi, Sept. 21 -- An 11-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by a tailor at his shop in north Delhi's Sadar Bazaar after he allegedly restrained her, gagged her, and threatened her with scissors when she tried to call for help, police said on Monday.
The incident came to light on the night of September 16 after a PCR call was received regarding the alleged assault. Police teams from Sadar Bazaar police station, accompanied by the ACPs of Sadar Bazaar and the Women Police Station, reached the spot.
According to police, the girl had left her home around 11 pm to buy stationery when the accused, identified as Maqsood, allegedly took her into his tailoring shop nearby. He is accused of restraining the minor and sexually assault...
