Srinagar, April 20 -- J&K Police continued it intensified crackdown under the 100-day Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan, arresting 11 drug peddlers and seizing substantial contraband and cash in separate operations across the Valley.
Police said they arrested three drug peddlers in Anantnag district in two separate operations.
In the first operation, a police team from Police Station Bijbehara, during routine naka checking at Tulkhan Bridge, intercepted and apprehended one individual identified as Arif Ahmad Dar of Tulkhan Bijbehara.
"Upon search, 1.269 kilograms of charas powder was recovered from his possession," police said.
