Nalgonda, March 4 -- Eleven devotees were injured after falling into a fire pit during the Sri Parvathi Ramalingeswara Swamy Utsavam at Amanagallu in Vemulapalli mandal of Nalgonda district on Wednesday.
According to police, the incident occurred while devotees were crossing the fire pit as part of the ritual.
A scuffle reportedly broke out among the devotees, leading to a stampede-like situation in which several people lost balance and fell into the fire pit.
