Asansol, May 12 -- The Iisco Steel Plant (ISP) management under the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has initiated preparations for a major crackdown against alleged illegal encroachments in the steel township area of Burnpur in West Burdwan district.
Following the recent political shift in the state, the ISP administration has reportedly moved into action mode.
Notices have been issued to several Trinamool Congress party offices, commercial establishments, and shops located on Station Road, Bari Maidan, Burnpur Bus Stand, and the Narsingh Bandh area, directing them to vacate the premises within 10 days.
