Parwinder SandhuNew Delhi, July 14 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday flagged off the 'Shaurya Vijay Yatra', a 13-day commemorative motorcycle expedition from the National War Memorial in New Delhi to the Kargil War Memorial at Dras, Ladakh, as part of the nationwide observance of Kargil Vijay Diwas 2026.
The expedition, carrying the theme 'One Ride, One Nation, One Salute', will see 28 riders, including serving and retired defence personnel as well as family members of the armed forces, cover nearly 1,900 kilometres through challenging Himalayan terrain before reaching Dras on July 26, the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas.
