Kolhapur, Aug. 10 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today said that the Sangeetsurya Keshavrao Bhosale Natyagrah is the pride of entire Maharashtra, which has a very long history in the glorious theatre tradition of Kolhapur.
Addressing a dedication function of the re-constructed Natyagrah after it was destroyed in the fire, he recalled that it was inaugurated by Chhatrapati Rajaram Maharaj on August 14, 1915. It was then called 'Palace Theatre', which later came to be known as 'Sangeetsurya Keshavrao Bhosale Theatre' from 1957.
