Mumbai, Sept. 22 -- Social media advertisements offering people the option to "Rent a Garba Partner" for the upcoming Navratri celebrations have drawn attention in Mumbai, with packages offering male and female companions for Garba events at rates of up to Rs 6,500.
The advertisements, being circulated through Instagram reels and posts, offer different packages described as Silver, Gold and Platinum. The services listed include accompanying customers to Garba events, wearing matching outfits, teaching Garba steps, taking selfies and making reels.
Some of the packages also advertise services such as creating a "fake backstory" for the companion and dropping the customer home after the event.
