Chandigarh, July 2 -- Punjab BJP president Kewal Singh Dhillon on Thursday criticised Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann over his visit to Bengaluru, alleging that the state government was failing to address several pressing issues while the Chief Minister was away.
In a statement, Dhillon claimed that Punjab was facing multiple challenges, including flood-like conditions in several areas, financial stress, inadequate power supply to farmers during the paddy season, and growing public dissatisfaction. He alleged that instead of responding to these concerns, the Chief Minister had travelled to Bengaluru for a Vipassana programme.
