New Delhi, July 18 -- Hours after climate activist Sonam Wangchuk was removed from the Jantar Mantar protest site by Delhi Police and admitted to Safdarjung Hospital, his wife, Gitanjali J. Angmo, appealed that no medication or medical procedure be administered without the consent of his family and the doctors who had been monitoring his health throughout his 20-day hunger strike.
In a post on social media platform X, Angmo wrote, "I am at Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi where @Wangchuk66 has been admitted.
