New Delhi, June 26 -- Star paddler Manika Batra on Friday said she was "mentally exhausted" and was "putting my sword down" in her battle over the Asian Games snub, while renewing her attack on the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) by alleging that the federation's response exposed a violation of its own constitution.
Manika, who was named among the reserves for the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya despite being India's most successful table tennis player in recent years, has repeatedly questioned the transparency of the selection process.
