Warangal, June 22 -- Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) Working President K T Rama Rao on Monday alleged that the Congress government's "Indiramma Rajyam" had pushed Telangana into crisis and accused Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of betraying farmers through the state's crop procurement policy.
Addressing a party workers' meeting in Wardhannapet Assembly constituency, KTR claimed that limiting paddy procurement to quantities approved by the Centre would severely affect farmers and amount to a "death warrant" for the farming community.
He alleged that the government had failed to address fertilizer and seed shortages, power supply issues, delays in Rythu Bharosa implementation and the discontinuation of Rythu Bima.
