Mumbai, Sept. 2 -- Upcoming drama series "Hunkkar: The Roar" follows a 17-year-old girl whose allegations against a powerful spiritual leader set off a high-profile investigation.
Directed by Karan D. Kapadia, Nitya Mehra, and Hiraaz Marfatia, the series follows the story of Meenu Rawat. After Meenu accuses revered cult leader Sunil Chakosi, aka "Bapji," a high-profile investigation begins, which gradually attracts national attention.
The series will feature many actors including Fatima Sheikh, Arjun Mathur, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Anit Padda, Raghubir Yadav and Ram Kapoor in pivotal roles.
The series' story unfolds through three distinct aspects: a police investigation, a legal battle, and a media trial.
